I believe words have received a bum rap. Sure it’s easy to use them too much, but how would the transmission take place without a vehicle? I have never met Eckhart Tolle, but his written words transmitted something to me in a very real way.
Everything evolves. Language is a thing. We pass words back and forth, argue their meaning, and thereby help their evolution toward an ever cleaner vehicle for pure transmission.
Written words are not the only form of communication, obviously, but without them the teachings of Ghandi, and Ramana Maharshi (to name just two) would not have reached me.
I bow down to words for the work they do, and offer my apologies for the harsh judgments I, and others, have passed on them. You may hate the message, but please don’t kill the messenger.
